I have been friends with Joan* for 51 years, and in all that time I have never tasted this recipe. She has been making it for 40 years! Strange, but true.
At any rate, she is a great cook so I trust that this is delicious. And I can visualize this being served at one of her “perfect” brunches with
Bacon and Cheese Quiche
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 lb. Jarlsberg cheese, grated
- 9″ pastry pie crust
- 1/2-pint sour cream
- 2 shakes salt
- 1 shake Worcestershire sauce
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 can onion rings (French’s)
Mix everything together and pour into the shell. Bake in the
